I read a while ago that they wanted to go bigger with the lenses. So I think MCL34N's example may be the right size. I am really liking the new frames. Who would have thought such a slight alteration would make such a big difference.
I wonder if he will have the utility belt like in the video game?

I still stand by my argument that the bigger lenses would allow for a larger, less inhibited field of vision. Bigger frames on glasses allow the wearer to see without the frames themselves appearing in view. As long as they don't go TOO big, I think this is a reasonable and logical change. And for anyone that tries to go with the "how can they explain him making them this big since they couldn't have come from sunglasses" argument, look at how fast any of us can make them. Mclean made them in a few hours. They need not be "found" items necessarily as long as they look like they could be made on a high schooler's budget and resources.

Digging the new eyes. I was shocked how much I grew attached to the TASM suit. I really hate to see it go... But the eyes on the mask like that looks really cool so maybe I'll like this one more (hopefully).

I agree. I was really offput after the first official image was released but now I love the ASM suit. Hopefully the upgrade is just as good or better.

I'm sorry but the new "classic" style lens doesn't look right to me. :wacko :unsure

I prefer the past movie lens. But who knows, when the full suit is revealed I might like it.

i think thats fake if i'm honest it even has the original brick pattern from the originals and honeycomb on the blue and the spider is so similar to the original one so if it is real i 'm gonna miss the ASM one

its from webbs twitter? the only link i found to it sent my anti virus into overdrive :/ if webb posted it himself then i could believe it was real although if it is besides the eyes i dont like it

its a complete rip off of rami there is nothing wrong with the rami suit but i dont think it fits in to the new spiderman universe at all

I like the new design as I get the "it looks like the comic book one" thing, but I actually loved the one from TASM. It was really unique but still Spiderman..
This one looks cool with commic eyes but I don't know, I'm kinda disapointed.
The previous one had the honeycomb texture which looks really amazing ! This one is actually the same as Raimi, they could at least keep the old texture.
The whole point of doing a new suit was to actually make it NEW.

Looks nice but the TASM one's still has a lot more charisma to me. They took a risk and it was really interesting.
I'm gonna have to wait for full pics but from what this pic shows, it's a bit of a let down for me.

Oh boy. I loved the design from TASM. The Raimi approach showed that a comic like suit just won't work on a real person. The TASM version just managed to mirror the agility of Spidey way better. (and btw: I'm a massive marvel fan and always anxious when it comes to costumes in movies but they really did a brilliant job there)
