The stone in the ring is called green amber.

Thanks for the info i really like this ring and am thinking of making one I have some peridot i was going to use because it is my birthstone but it looks like green amber is not to pricey and it is the same color as peridot. I will be using brass cause i can't afford gold but at least I could use the right stone.
