Re: 1:1 Heath Joker WIP
This particular sculpt is based loosely on this promotional pic:
I started by removing the wig:
After comparing reference shots, I found the face to be a tad too thin. I used Apoxie Sculpt to bring out the cheeks, and also to build out the top lip a bit.
I then painted the entire bust normal skin tone:
When I finished, I cut up my Rubies' wig and slowly glued the hair layer by layer with a hot glue gun:
I started with the white paint, but unlike before (I painted a pretty much white face white, I allowed the skin-tone to show through the white. Thus, I didn't just pile on the white, but instead blotted it carefully to match the image (and how Joker appears in the pencil trick scene)
I then worked on the lips and eyes:
And he started to come to life:
