No more Graflex's.

Plus, In all the images of Rey, she's not well manicured with longer nails. Check the scene where she helps Finn up.

Not even that but they look like Carrie Fisher's hands. Would be silly for the dialogue to reference Vader (my father has it), Luke (I have it) and then some random woman that isn't Luke's sister (my sister has it).

I bit the bullet, these things are going to be going up for a looong time.
Vintage Graflex on the way. Roy's ESB kit on the way.

Thats actually a pretty good price for one now. I haven't seen on go for under $300 in a while, and there have been many flashguns bought/sold since then. Congrats RexKramer. I can't wait to see your build!

I'm willing to concede my point based on the fact the image may match the concept art for Leia, but it's ridiculous to infer any kind of narrative structure based on the VO in a trailer.

Here are the pics from the auction:
NOTE: I am aware of the incorrect T tracks and calc lens. The seller was too, he mentioned it in the description!
Here are my points:
1 You can clearly see the "By Graflex, Inc" in the trademark. The only replicas I know of have the Folmer trademark, correct me if I'm wrong?
2 The pins are correct
3 The top rivet on the 'ear' clamp is correct
4 The straight slot screw above the glass eye is correct
5 The inside of the top is correct
6 The glass eye seems correct
7 The only 2 things I am questioning are the button and the clamp. You can see the letters through the tape and they look like they have the correct spacing, but the lines don't look right to me. Am I imagining things? The button looks like, but at the same time something about it looks off. Can I be imagining this as well?
Also he mentioned to me that this was built nearly 12 years ago, which would match up to the fact that back then, people thought a double screw D ring was used, am I correct?
Everyone please chime in, I HAVE to know if I made a wise choice!

I always recognize a real clamp by just looking at the GRAFLEX font; the leg of the R is just a little bit wider than the upper part of it.
