Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake, leatherface sculpt

Now that I think about it. I believe that the "KNB" bust was molded off of the backup mask that newline auctioned off way back in the day. The one i sent you pictures of. It had stitching but no hair. Who knows, still a great piece.

And here it is guys, the finished sculpt ! In natural day light so you can see the real product. I might retouch it a little bit before molding, but overall, this is it ! Hope you like it, I can't wait to pull the first copy and have your opinions !

That was a blast sculpting it, and this is pretty much my first full mask sculpture (I used to sculpt prosthetics), and I guess I'm pretty satisfied with the result. Especially as a Leatherface fan !
Stay tuned, cause the best is to come !

Can i make a suggestion and that is refine the lips on the neck a little more? They were the lips of a woman and that detail is usually missed on these masks. That's my only critique, everything else looks fantastic.

That was one of the thing I wanted to sculpt more before molding it as it's a very subtle detail. Thanks a lot for the advice though ! I'm very glad you like it ! :)

Sculpture came out great! It takes a lot of effort to bring a sculpture to life and you did an an amazing job! Looking forward to the end result!

Wow! That is great! I plan on getting back on sculpting after my iron man build..still too many plans on working on Marvel sculpts... not a pro though. Just took it as a hobby, but MAN! 'am I enjoying it!

Ordered everything needed today, I wanted to go with stone, but Hydrocal seems way better for mask making.

Ultracal is not as good as Hydrocal for maskmaking bro. Hydrocal is very good when it comes to little details. Anyways, don't worry, I know what I'm doing :)
