Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake, leatherface sculpt

Ultracal vs. hydrocal... And the winner is?

Personal preference. I use both, for me it just depends on what I'm working on. Hydrocal tends to stress me out more because it sets up so fast, even with cold water as compared to ultracal in which I can take my time. Both work just fine for me.

Btw, I'm loving your leatherface. Loads of detail, I can't wait to see it worn.

Thanks guys for your comments ! Began sculpting the teeth yesterday !
Oh yeah, I didn't told you ! I'm going to make special teeth that anyone will be able to wear, thanks to a useful process ... I'll tell you more about that once done ! :)

That face and the main title from the movie seem like things straight out of hell... :wacko

Hey man !
Pulling the proto mask today, painting it today too ! Should have picture of the "nearly" finished mask tomorrow, because I didn't receive my leather straps yet ... :facepalm

First try went bad because of the latex quality. Will have a new try in a few days.
Stay tuned !

Long enough haha :p
I made a huge mistake trying to thicken my latex by putting talc in it ... It made it easily tearable.
But I should soon have a good mask made.

Here is a picture of the rejected pull (photoshoped the straps). The final shape of the mask won't look like this, as this pull it's not thick enough.
You can also notice that I didn't trim the neck.
