Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake, leatherface sculpt

I would love to see some of your other sculpts so i can get an idea how detailed you are going to get. The original was textured but very subtly along with all the wrinkles. Most fan sculpts over do the texture and wrinkles :(.

Don't worry bro, I'll go for the subtle textures. I definitely want the most accurate mask ever made !
Here is one of my sculpt where the "lots of wrinkles" look was desired :

Big update !
The overall shape is DONE ! Smoothed it all down !
Should texture him tomorrow :)
Here is a picture so you can see the shape of what should be the final mask :

Do you have any Delimeonine? It will take down all the sharp edges and will give you a more narural surface to texture.

80% of the finished sculpt is here ! (not including the back of the head) :
Hope you guys like it !

More to come, tomorrow !
Should mold this guy next week, and have a first copy a few days later.

That's awesome. I'm a huge Texas chainsaw massacre fan. I watched them over and over again when I was younger. Now I'm going to have to go and watch all of them again. :)

Here is an original master casting from the KNB molds. Its a very smooth sculpture.. Not really that heavily textured at all.

This is a recast made by the KNB crew. Stoddard was the only one who ever made masks for the remake film. He didn't work for KNB on TCM the remake (I contacted KNB for my sculpt). His sculpt was extremely detailed and not smooth like the pictures you're showing.
Do not worry, once the mask will be cast, the details will all be smoothed out. Plus, if you look at your pictures, the light is not the same as in my pictures at all.
I took really stylized pictures, and they're making the texture looking heavier than it really is.
Last thing, that's not the finished sculpt ;)

I hear ya dude.. I'm just trying to help as much as i can from my end to keep this thing as true to the original as possible :D
