Re: Terminator collection pics
Tell me about the Winchester with the expaned loop...
The Winchester is an actual vintage 1887 model, converted to "T2 specs" by Stembridge Gun Rentals (including customization from live fire to blank fire). One of four made for and used in the film, I acquired it last year (since, two of the others were offered at auction at the Little John's event in June -
LINK).
During the filming process, they would disassemble the shotguns after shooting for cleaning, so the current configurations might not match any particular shot, as the components would get swapped around.
However, in the bike scenes, I've been able to screen-match the vintage wood stock on one side to made shots (the grain, pits, and marks/damage):
I've got a lot of paperwork tying the piece back to use in the production, by serial number, including the rental agreements between Stembridge and T2 Productions.
The pistol is one of two used in the film - I believe it is the primary one used, as the rental agreement on the other one has a notation that reads "Damaged Throughout" (they are real firearms converted to blank fire).
I've recently been able to screen-match it to a few scenes on Blu-Ray Disc, but don't yet have the capability to get screencaps on my PC... The pistol is a custom piece - a Colt Series 70 slide on a Detonics frame.
