oh my, that is a really neat idea.
When I clicked to open the thread, i pictured you dressed in black, working a puppet like they did for Phantom Menace C3PO...but this is way cooler.

Here are some picts from the Costume Contest. Again, I was not only unhappy that I didn't finish my Plasma Rifle, but they also forgot to play my music while I was on stage, so I got nicked for presentation. In any case, everyone loved it...

And exiting off the stage. After two hours of standing in line backstage, I think my velcro glue was coming undone behind the neck. The picture still shows the skull detail, even with flashing bulbs...

Have to show some other Terminator fans who entered the group category. Pretty cool and we had fun together partying afterwards...

Great experience anyways, even though it didn't go as planned. Will have fun at the Terminator movies when they come out...

Fantastic costume! I would suggest adding a torn (and maybe bloody) gray t-shirt over the chest. This might help visually blend the 'metal' and fabric elements of the costume. Brilliant use of toilet paper rolls!

Awesome costume! You should add a sound system that plays robot servo motor sounds.
I want to do a t2 arnold costume really bad but I don't have the muscle yet.

That is an awesome mask, wipes the floor with most I can find now, especially with the repaint. Gloves work well too, I fancied a pair for my T2 outfit but cant get decent delivery to the UK
