I may be missing something but ..by looking at the picture of the cast, it really doesn't look like alot of clean up work at all my friend.
Of course life getting in the way sucks too and I know doesn't help. I have a spot picked out for one on my wall bud. Pm me if some resin just so happens to fall in that mold again..lol.
Nope, no thickener, for me, i think its pretty thick as it was, it was good stuff to work with, but i was unfamiliar with the brush on process, i know if i had matrix mold it, it would came out better , because my previous experience with the gorilla, but i wanted to learn different methods, MAYBE ill order more silicone, (when i have money) and give it a 2nd try, i almost had it,
As for now, im just letting it sit aside and keep working on my suit until im in the mood to work with it
I have been following this thread for awhile now and am excited to see it get to this point. Excellent work sir!. Sorry the brush on did not go as well as desired...back up and try again. Sounds like you know how you want to do it. What resin did you use for this? Was it poured in to coat the mold and any excess dumped out?
Looks damn impressive to me Jose! Glad you found the motivation to get back at it again. Usually when I take a break from a project I can come back with a better desire to get it done and do it right. Looks like you did just that
Way to go Jose...I am excited to see you working on this again. I was kinda' bummed out when you decided to take a break but I understand how that goes. Keep at it.
Dayum José Love that man! I feel like a lil kid a christmas being taken around the stores with his parents for hints of what they want that year
I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it and did I mention ..... I WANT IT!
