Terminator 1 Finished

Hi everyone, just finished up a Howard S T1 Arnie. Painted with oils, added wig, glass eye, and endo eye light. Also added the head to a mannequin, cut it down and added the shirt and leather jacket which was cut up to fit the bust. Mannequin built up with paper mache.

Even knowing that it is a statue,I can not see that it is fake. You're very good. Seeing these results,makes me want to improve.

Looks great but need clearer pics. How did you go about adding the wig ? did you cut off the sculpted hair ?


Always loved this bust. Would love to have seen Howard do a silicone version of this.

Thanks Gypsy, I'll post better pics. I cut the hair off with a saw actually, trimmed it up with an exacto knife then filled in his empty head with foam. After the foam set i trimmed it down then hot glued the wig on, then he got a hair cut.

Looks awesome. You done a great job with the hair. I always like the look Howard got with this bust.
The one thing you could do which I did to mine is cut of the shoulder straps on the jacket. I was reluctant but glad I did as it looks more T1 without having the sideshow Terminator jacket.
Its all about the hair on this piece and it looks like you nailed it very cleverly.

WOW thanks guys! I got the jacket years ago off ebay. It was probably about 80$ if i remember correctly. Maybe 60. Didnt want to spend too much, I knew iI was going to cut it up.
