Tempest 2

I got the Hyundai Accent. Been a pretty good car for the past 8 years. The AC is now the first issue its had. They tried recharging the freon, but that didn't work.....or this would have been much cheaper.
Life issues.....right?

Some of Hyundai’s compact and sub-compact vehicles are very good-looking and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, here the market of automobiles is dominated by the major Japanese company. And most of us have a prejudice that the US car is too big and a gas guzzler. Instead, we have some kind of worship of the German cars. If you throw stones at the street, it may hit a Mercedes or a BMW with high probability. I understand why President Trump is upset about it.

By the way, I guess YOU can fix your car problem on your own. I think you are a good technician. ;)

Most of the detailing work on the lower hull has been completed, and I have connected the engines to the bottom.

Thank you always, Analyzer-san.

I installed the upper main deck on the engine nacelles, and some greeblies work was needed in place between the engines on the bottom of the landing deck.

I connected the main deck and the nose deck with 6 screws.

The connection is very tight and strong. I can flip the whole hull upside down when I need it.

Any of your comments are welcome.

It's getting hot here. I can work for 3 or 4 hours in the morning.
Take care, my friends.

Of all the brain power and deep thinking it takes to make all these scratch built models, it's similar when doing something like this in photoshop.
Now people just use some kind of AI with keyword prompts, but I still like doing it that old way and trying to figure out how to put it all together and make it look best you can get it to look.
A lot of thinking and figuring things out.
Good for us to do.
It's like taking our brains to the gym....lol.

Oh, I totally agree with you.
A few days ago, I put up some of those pics on Facebook. Someone asked me, 'How did you print it out with this design?' I'm at a loss as to whether I should be happy or sad. I know 3D printing will be mainstream for these hobbies, and it will be so handy if you can handle it. On the other hand, it would hardly be built this model using 3D printing, to me. Because this build is a series of trial and error, chopping, and throwing away. I can't make a complete design to feed into a PC from the beginning.
I still have to rely on a gray stuff between both my ears and rather awkward hands.
Looks like am building a prototype forever.

Excellent work Katsu.
Thank you always, Carlb-san! Can't wait for your next project. That would give me another inspiration.

I agree, excellent work! :cool::cool:(y)(y):love::love:

Thank you so much for your constant support. Lewis-san.

Yep, amazing workmanship and greeblies arrangement Katsu-san:cool::cool::love::love::love::notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

Thank you so much, joberg-san.
Praise from the legend always makes me proud. :notworthy: :notworthy:

I would just say that nothing is printed at all.
While I can see that printing parts here and there might help with things, I wouldn't care to print the whole thing. Kinda defeats the whole purpose of a scratch build....and thats where the fun part is.

(y)That's the whole point.
Just amazing! But we’ve come to expect no less.
Thank you so much, Thaddeus-san. And also, for my daughter Yuki, thank you so much for your kind attention and words for her YouTube movie. She is so pleased to see that.
Just too tempting NOT to do this.
