Wow, too many of them.
I've never been there, but this is the photo of Nara Park in Nara prefecture.
The park is well known by those deer (Cervus Nippon). The deer are living in this park near Houryu-Ji Temple and Toudaiji Temple.

Deer have lived here for nearly 1500 years. They were once considered messengers of the gods, and anyone who harmed them would be punished. Today, there are about 1300 deer here and they are protected by law. Many tourists visit there every day and buy food for the deer at the concession and feed them. Thanks to their gentle nature, there were some problems with them before, but somehow people and deer managed to live with.

A few progress.

This is the underside connecting part for the nose section and mid-hull.

I thought I should build the engines before going on to detail those walls surrounding it. That makes it easier to choose the design of detailing of that part, which may be related to the engine block.

Thank you so much, my friends.
In fact, the engine's design was one of the issues for me, as this ship is a rather boxy-looking one. So I thought the engine should be a boxy design too. I know it would be fit. But on the other hand, it will look too normal. So I tried to do a bit off(?) from the total ship shape.
I hope it works, but if not, I will reconsider from the first place.
This is one of the little fun moments of building for me.

Thank you so much for the kind comments, Michael-san and George-san, and many likes!
Today, another little bird strike happened. It wasn’t a bird's union strike for higher wages; it was a strike against a closing window. It might have gotten a concussion and fainted for a while. Soon it woke up and flew away.
It was a Japanese bush warbler.

Wow, this thing is big!

Yup, 3 feet 4 inches. I hadn't thought about the display place before starting to build it.
:eek::(:lol:
Glad to see that the bird was alright; common problems: bird see the reflection of its environment in the glass (trees, clouds, etc...) and think that it's just a continuation of its habitat:( Model looks mighty with these engines:cool::cool:(y)(y):notworthy::notworthy:
Oh, thank you so much for the comment and info. I used to think that they didn't see the transparent glass.

When this ship is finished, at least half of these detailing works of this part will be hard to see. Heck, but I don't care. Building IS fun.
