Is it better than robo shredder? yes....but...
now it looks too much like next mutation shredder.

Again, I ask, what is wrong with the classic designs? the old designs work FOR A REASON. you change thme too much, you get 7 foot tall turtles with nostrils.


all this reboot nonsense and change for the sake of looking different. not because it serves the character or the stories....

I dunno...after all these lame reboots, from jj trek, to feig busters, to bay turtles...i'm becoming more than ever of a 'basics' purist.... not just a purist in general. ;o).

I wonder if i'd like it any better if...

- the turtles had real designs.
- the turtles had real voice actors that didn't all sound alike.
- it had a real director that didn't cater to the lowest common denominator
- it had a better writer.

probably not.

New trailer

I facepalm to Michael Bay's work as much as the next guy, but this actually looks... entertaining. Felt the same after the first TMNT2 trailer. CGI overload aside, this has a bit of the 90s cartoon feel, should sell well with kids. As a caveat I will admit, I did like the first TF film, I found it entertaining for what it was.

all the turtles voices sound the same... they arn't doing character voices so much as are just...talking..

I do agree it looks like they are TRYING to fix what didn't work in the first one..

but it's STILL Michael Bay. still the same designs. still the same terrible april.

the only one who looks like he's having fun being there is Arrow. Maybe Madea.

New Trailer coming out....

Sigh.. I'm in the cayman shen camp.

I hate myself for even thinking that this looks better than the first movie.

not that that first mess of a movie had much to go on.

But it still has an april who can't act. a baxter that cross dresses in other films, turtles that sound alike and can't voice act to save their lives...

and now it looks like they have...BLUE mutagen that turns humans into mutants and Vice versa? These idiots know the green stuff does that just fine, right?

It looks like a sequel to the CG 2007 film. They really didn't do a good job with the visuals in a photo real sense.

I couldn't even make it through 15 minutes of the original craptasticness...I won't even give this one a chance.

Michael Bay, seriously one of, if not THE, most over rated directors I have ever seen. The movie was bad enough but putting Fox in it just flushed it straight down the toilet IMHO.

I was bored to tears in the first one...

during a ninja turtle movie..

and honestly, some of the new nick series does that for me too.. especially the horror episodes. but at least that tries to feel a little more like turtles..

how studios let films like that get that far is beyond me

I dont get how they are supposed to be ninjas when they have SO much crap all over them! Its like Bay's Transformers, how they have 10,000 individual parts. Aside from them looking like hulking freaks, the extra crap all over them is so distracting. And those wanted posters are so basic, flat, and boring, its kind of ridiculous. I dont get how these movies get funding. It boggles my mind. :wacko

what's really sad is seeing turtles degraded and associated with the likes of reality trash talk when being associated with meghan fox. local radio station was talking about her like they'd talk about a kraptashian. and dragging turtles into the mix.

Way to go nick....keeping the franchise family friendly by bringing Bay and Fox into the mix.
sigh.

and people wonder why I get so upset these d ays, seeing my favorite franchises dragged in the mud. even batman and superman arn't immune.

supposedly movie screenings of this mess are happening now in NYC.

I'm seeing crowds of people cheering vanilla ice on stage with a giant back drop of the movies logo. WTF is that crowd on man? I never liked vanilla ice the first time around. he ruined an otherwise perfect toon to LA movie conversion.
