TDK Joker props (merged)

Yeah. Hopefully they'll realize the high demand and release them by September...

And I wonder just what a "newer version" is...

So who is going to e-mail them about the socks for price and availability, hopefully before Halloween, so they are not bombarded with requests?

Didn't someone say they bought one of only a few ties produced from the actual company?

That was me :lol
They said it would be here by Friday, and it's still not here. I'm a bit miffed, becaused they charged me 20 bucks for shipping.

can someone post a good picture of the batarang from the dark knight, the one with the beveled edges.....pleeeeease

I'm going to say the revolver is a Smith & Wesson 65.

If not, it's something in the same vein. I'm no gun expert, but they look pretty close to me. :cool

The sawed off shotgun, anybody know what it is? I want to say that it's a remington 870.

Okay, so, known weapons list time.

Modified Glock 17 (can't be an 18 because it has no selector switch or porting).

Sawed off Remington 870.

Smith & Wesson 64 or 65 Revolver. (The same gun Dent uses).

Norinco Type 69 40mm rocket launcher.

Smith & Wesson M76 sub-machine gun.

I think that's about it for the Joker. Did I miss anything?

Not counting knives and pencils that it. :lol

The rifle he uses in his assassination attempt looks like a M1 Garand or a Springfield M14. He also takes a dropped revolver from one of his thugs at the penthouse. There is a picture of him holding it in the booklet to the soundtrack. Joker uses a lot of guns for someone who says he prefers knives.

I just recieved word from Turnbull and I was able to arrange to buy one of thier 'Joker' ties. $150 doesn't seem so bad when you figure that replicas are going for $100 on Ebay. Besides which, I often buy designer clothes anyway so I know that this stuff is never cheap.I saw your picture of your Turnbull tie and it looks very green - the movie tie looks more yellow/gold. I was told in my email from Turnbull that the replica ties are 'the wrong colors'. Since you, nickytea, have one of these ties, what can you say for it as far as the color and accuracy?

I thought they limited the production to 12 ties? I would've bought one already if they were doing more.

Oh, and more pics please!!!

I was told there is a 'limited supply' of the ties available, however I did recommend to them that they produce more of these ties as I am sure many more fans will be contacting them in search of one.I'm pretty sure that the tie will become one of the most famous movie ties of all time so I hope they make more so die-hard fans can get one.

Just got off the phone with Turnbull & Asser. There was about 50 or so of these ties available and now down to less than a dozen. I explained to the sales rep that this is a very popular tie in our community and he said that there are still some available but not many so anyone who wants a genuine Joker tie should contact them right away. Thier phone number (in New York) is 212-319-8100Price is $150.00 plus shipping.
