I know a handful of people that ordered from slicksilver (both their site and their ebay store) weeks ago and no one has received anything
....However, they are mass produced in china, and shipped directly to the consumer, so you could expect a good 8-16 days for shipping. I am really curious to see how these came out. When I first started my project I tried to save some money, cut some corners, and buy a few replica 1922 peace dollars from the many direct-from-china replica companies on ebay and was very dissappointed in the quality, lots of pitting and discoloration in the metal itself and the detail on the face was washed out and the text (LIBERTY, In God We Trust, 1922) was almost completely gone.
But I'm hoping their two face coins are more of a custom item and maybe newer/cleaner/not over-used molds. But like I said, no one has recieved theirs in weeks...so i'm going to wait it out before I buy myself a "clean" version from them.....please post some nice crisp pics when (if) you do recieve them!
