TASM2 Rookie Build

Hi all this is my first RPF post and my very first costume build.
I'm going to post some pictures from what I have already completed and explain my build up to where it stands now.
Hope you all enjoy and positive feedback is appreciated!

First I started with the base TASM2 zentai from zentaizone.com.
I had it custom tailored so it would fit a little more snug on my body luckily I'm the perfect body size for Peter Parker.

Then I proceeded to build my own face shell out of a cheap amazing spider-man toy mask I picked up for about $10.
I knew the mask needed to be modded so first I took the sander to it to rub off all of the webbing and give the whole mask an even smooth surface.
After that I used a hairdryer to heat up the mask and bend it into a more streamline shape then I rapidly cooled it with cold water so it would hold its form.
Then I carefully made holes in the plastic so I could attach some small earth magnets in the appropriate places in order to attach the eyes later.

Here is the finished product

After that I tackled the problem of the eyes.
I did some research and found some great pre-made products here on the RPF and but in the end money was tight so I put my ingenuity to the test.
I picked up some medium thickness black craft foam sheets from a local craft store and cut my eyes out from that. I also used some white mesh from a cheap laundry bag and some automotive window tint to create the inner eyes. After gluing them all together in the appropriate order I embedded and glued some small nail heads on the backside so they could be attached to the face shell. Then after a few coats of gloss black paint here is what I came up with.

The shoe inserts were the very last thing on my list and quite honestly caused me the most headache I finally used some basic outdoor water shoes and heated them up with the blow dryer in order to separate the upper shoe from the sole. Then I inserted the upper sole into the suit and glued the sole to the outside bottom of the suit in order to sandwich it all together. (sorry I have no progress pictures of the shoes)

And finally here is the finished result I debuted at Dallas Comic-Con a few weeks ago (My first con!)
