Re: TASM Fitness Thread. "Shirts-off" Challenge Starts NOW for May 4th deadline!

Heya everyone, well now that I'm in on this I decided to post my starting picture and give you guys some information about myself. I'm 17 years old, I'm a junior in high school, and a lot of people joke that I'm spiderman. I have studied martial arts, parkour, and I have fairly good climbing skills, which I occasionally apply to some buildings at my school. I also kind of have the hair of spiderman, and I wear glasses, and I'm fairly smart in school, certainly not the smartest though. In all of the pictures I post, I'm probably not going to show my face due to privacy reasons. I may show my face for the final picture on May 4th, but we'll see. So here is my start picture,

Yeah... I don't look wonderful. I stand at around 5 foot 9 inches, and in this start picture I weigh 121 pounds. Yeah, I'm super skinny, I'm not pleased about that. So in mid-January I decided to start working out, and being an obvious ectomorph I decided that Spider-man would be a good goal to match, so I started a muscle building program. I don't have an up to date picture yet, but I shall take on one Sunday. Cheers!

Count me in!

This'll be great motivation to work out and gain some muscle

Re: TASM Fitness Thread. "Shirts-off" Challenge Starts NOW for May 4th deadline!

Well my goal is to maybe lose a few more pounds around my oblique area but mainly (like many others in the thread) to really tone up and get defined. So my progress I don't think will show in weight so much as pics.

If anyone has some tips on how to get rid of that oblique fat right above the waist I would love to hear them! I run about 3 miles 5 days a week (other days I'm with my trainer) and I do ab and core exercises everyday and I'm on a pretty hefty diet. Mostly protein and fruit and things like that. Anything else I could do?

BW chiming in cause im in the same boat about oblique pudge lol, possibly up the protein in take to match per lb and also see if your trainer can do a body compo test on you to asses bf% so you know where you stand. you wont be able to target the fat per-say but you can work the crap out of your obliques and build the muscle underneath. waist area is usually the last to come off. from your pics though it probably wont be to much longer cause I can see your core muscle starting to pop.

Thanks man. He actually did one about two weeks ago and that was before I really started hitting it hard and I was about 12% body fat.

Funny how suddenly this thread is way more active once we've all set up a common goal.
Union and support might be the key to motivation.
You had a simple yet brilliant idea to gather us all Fett.
Let the sweat drop !

While its a detail into getting that V-shape but when doing pull-ups or pull-downs hold the handle bar as wide as possible. LIke i said tho its just a detail.

Cool beanies. Once I get mine in I'll let you guys know if its any good. I just went with them cause I happened to get a coupon in the mail last night after we had been talking about it. So they got me at exactly the right time LOL. The reason why my end design is simpler than my mockups was to save money and use the coupon I had. If you guys prefer anything different let me know and I can see how much that would cost. Site is pretty basic too, you can go and take a look yourselves if you want.

I always like simpler designs to be honest lol. So that design works for me.
