For bench press (what I'm assuming you're calling chest press) I would not recommend using the curling bar. That exercise with a straight bar puts a fair bit of stress on your shoulders. I don't know what a curling bar would do. I supposed you could start out super light, do a ton of reps, and really focus on what areas are stressed first and try to see if you think it will cause injuries later. But, a lot of people have great results with dumbbell bench press and many respected guys prefer it to the barbell bench press.I just got a curling bar today with some new weights. On some exercises its better for my wrists i noticed. Most exercises i cant to with it tho.
I was just curious like chest press. With both u have other way to keep the balance. What why i wondered which is better
