@josh. Like any other muscle the abs need to do be token down and then fueled (with high protein and clean carbs) immediately post lift. Doin crunches and body weight exercises simply won't do. Alcide from true blood would do 4 exerceis, 3 sets each of 30 reps of weighted work, 2 exercises involving plants for 3 sets of 60 seconds, and then jump rope for 10 minutes.

my ab workouts consist of planks 2 sets 45 seconds, elevated planks 2 sets 45 seconds, mountain climbers 2 set 30 reps, leg lifts 2 sets 25 reps, pulse ups 2 sets 25 reps, obliques with 40 lbs 50 reps on each side, medicine ball twists 50 reps. most days ill wear my weighted vest to add more weight. granted I have only been doing this routine since January and muscle takes time to build.

Don't know if i will be able to participate in the challenge... taking pictures every week is going to be hard for me... but i can have a before and after picture on may 4th!

It's really all about accountability. If you can't take pics, or check-in to give updates on Sun, then just do your best to check-in when you can. no worries.

Thought I'd throw my hat into this. I workout 5-6 times a week right now but need something to push me harder. Hoping this will do that. Will post my before pic either after the gym tonight or first thing in the morning. My stats are 5' 7" and current weight is 150lbs

I've lost three pounds. down to 167 lbs...it fluctates though so I'm guessing it's water weight. Been trying to run at least 2 miles every other day. Did 2 sets of deadlifts and push presses today.

Special thanks to joshspiderman23 for his suggestion on protein powders. After switching to a much leaner protein I lost 5lbs in 1 month while still gaining strength!

If anyone wants a pic of the actual T, shoot me a PM. I got a message from the admins saying I have to start a junkyard thread if I want to sell these...and since I am not really interested in selling to anyone outside this thread I will not be starting a junkyard thread. These Ts are more of a motivational thing for this thread only. Like an exclusive club almost. That's why I was offering these at cost straight from the vendor. No profit for my design or any of that stuff.

Here's a fun tip: you can order the shirt one size smaller and then try to fit into it by May 4th. That's what I did :)

Here's my day 1 pic. As I mentioned before I already workout 5-6 times a week and am 5'7 and currently weigh 150lbs. Was looking for something to push me harder so I could get better results

I'm a tall, long, thinner kid. But my only problem is that I have a little bottom stomach fat. Can anyone give me some tips on how to get it off?

work out, lift weights and get in shape, targeting fat is a myth. the only way to lose the stomach is muscle up and low body fat %

I cheated a little bit this weekend. Had some Brazilian styles buffet and ate about 5 pounds worth of red meat...

Don't have an update pic, but I've been sticking with my exercise and diet so far. My shoulders chest and legs are getting stronger but I'm having a hard time moving up on back, biceps, and triceps.

Here's my UPDATE picture. Down 5! :D

I won't be be updating pictures of physique every week because it will take at least 30 days before seeing any significant changes. I may or may not post pics on day 30, but definitely will on the 4th of May. Until then, I will keep updating with scale pics in hoping the numbers ONLY decrease haha

Though I'm down 5 lbs, I think I would've lost more if I hadn't indulge with In N Out Burger. I had it twice during the week along with some mexican food on a different day. Other than that, my diet was pretty good along with exercise, of course.

As for me, I'm down the 2lbs I had gone up but that puts me back at square 1. I really, REALLY need to find the time to work out but with the 5 Spidey suits I'm currently working on, it's been damn near impossible. Got a schedule to keep for everyone's suit! But nobody likes excuses and I'm not hear to give one. Tomorrow I'm working out, and the next day and the next day. Going to WonderCon in 2 weeks and I need to be at least 5 pounds lighter. Let's do this guys!
