Hello all! I know Halloween is over, but I just wanted to share my find with everyone! I spent a lot of time searching for a decent shoe for my TASM costume, since a pair of Asics Dirt Dog 3's would cost more than my actual costume. I stumbled upon a pair of Saucony Velocity 4's at Academy for only $26. They were a highlighter yellow color like in the attached picture, but I used paint markers I purchased from Walmart to color the entire shoe and voila! They turned out pretty darn impressive actually.
i do want to note that they run very true to size even after cutting them up. I typically wear a 9 (US) and bought an 8 1/2 thinking I would gain room after dicing them up. They are very snug, almost too small.
