Tardis PTO door sign ?

I know there are build threads, here and on other forums, about how to build a Tardis, but I'm quite a long ways away from that. However, in the mean time, my girlfriend really wants the white rectangular plaque/sign that goes on the front door of the Tardis.

I would like to know more about it. Is it metal, or some other material? Is there a place to buy them? Has someone here done a run, or is planning to do one? Or, is there any tips/tutorials on how to make one yourself?

I thought this would be an easy question for you all, I guess I'll have to keep digging for an answer else where, since my girl really wants one of these.

Check out rebelscum's TARDIS build thread. He has a big section on making the sign.

I just read through that thread, and wall his sign looks fantastic, his method doesn't lend itself to my old (half) blind eyes. (plus I'm a little to lazy for that. :lol) Does anyone have an easier method, or a place where one of these signs could be bout, on the cheep?

Could always just do a google image search, find a pic, and have it printed on quality paper, and then decoupage it onto either metal, or just frame it like that.

Thanks guys that is a big help. Invicta those graphics will be a great starting point. And, CCP I have always wanted to try decoupage.
