Limited Run TAKING PAYMENTS Machined X men origins claws! RUN IS A GO!!!!!

Re: Russrep Machined X men origins claws! RUN IS A GO!!!!!

I have a different question in regards to Russ' pics above. Are the grooves in the palm pieces aligned in straight rows? The claws themselves are not parallel, as they splay out to the ends. So shouldn't the grooves for the outside blades be angled out?

I forgot the exact spec given for the claw spacing (maybe it was 3" apart at the tips?). Can someone chime in if they know. I'll look it up.

I don't care about prop accuracy of the grips but I do have concerns that the grip size is to big for a size medium hand and will look like I am holding something rather than being concealed as designed.

My concern, as well. Still not sure why the palm piece has been designed that way, anyway. Certainly doesn't go along with the movie design. And I think people on this forum want that, don't they? :confused

Russ mentioned his palm piece as a "comfort" grip, but I'm quite comfortable holding the normal palm piece, actually.

i'd say no, the grooves should be straight, then you can just bend the claws/wires to get the angles right (the pics of the screen used ones look to be done that way)

any chance that these will be ready to ship, received, in time for Halloween?

Ya, I'm only 5'6 so my hands are not all that big. With a big round grip, I think it will look to much like the cheap metal knock offs that can be found on the auction sites.

Point is to be hidden so it looks real. Not like a costume prop

I'd go for the thin grip too please if that's no trouble.

Thin grips for me too. Now I just need to work on my six pack for Halloween.
