That makes sense, I guess. But, you can't even just round off the tips? I didn't expect them to be sharp, but, c'mon.

Hi the claws are all machined and holes drilled, If you are not happy with how they have turned out please pm me I can send you a refund, These were very tricky to machine and hold, I did not have any drawings to go by,
when I say I would'nt advise against sharpening them its because they will be very sharpe and dangerous!!

I sent a PM asking for a refund.
I don't have a problem with accuracy issues and I have never complained about the time the project has taken. However, the visible wires are a problem. If they don't look convincing (as if the really were coming out of the fist rather than an item being held) I just do not see the point.

It pains me to do this..... PM'ed for a refund. Sorry Russ. I know you have a lot of time in on these.
Issues for me are , The wire look thick and hard to manipulate, I want to get the claws up to my skin. The wires are also look pre-bent The claws are shiny(I like), I don't think I could fix the ends to come to a point without making them look bad, also I don't I know anyone that could help me. There are to many thing that add up that take away from screen accurate. I really wanted a metal pair that were closer to screen accurate. With all the modification I would need to attempt if I kept them (not even sure if I could make them work how I want) I would need a lot lesser price to stay with these. If you are stuck with a lot of claws due to canceled orders and want to work out a lower price Russ, PM me.

Hi guys sure no problem I understand, I will get that sorted for you tomorrow.
The rods are clamped up by a screw which you can undo to bring them out or move them in, also the whole claws and palm all un screw.

If you make the end look like the real claws, sharp looking and pointy that would be enough for me and you already addressed the ability to get the claws up to the skin. The ends don't have to be sharp, even the very end were it's to be pointed, you could slightly round the pointed end so that it would not break skin unless enough presser was used, that way they look screen accurate and are not dangerous. I don't think anyone wants sharp claws, just sharp looking claws.
