Limited Run TAKING PAYMENTS Lukes stormtrooper grappling hook full metal spring loaded

Does anyone have a clue on what wire or cable I should use to connect this? or what kind of connecter I want to use?

Just got home from vacation. & this was the 1st thing I opened!!! It's fantastic! I love the plaque too! :thumbsup

Got mine in Tulsa last Friday. Question about the hinge pins. Mine are loose (as in they slide out when I move the arms or just rotate the whole piece). I tried tapping them to see if they were just pressure fit, but no luck, they still just slide out. Do I just need to glue them, or am I missing something obvious?
 
Do you happen to have the size and weight you used for the spring? Im trying to find something with the same size but 1/2 the weight of force
