Is the design final?
The shaft of the grappling hook seems to be a tad too long in comparsion to the screenused one...what do you think?

I count 13 coils on the spring on the movie still, 23 on the other (including the ones partially hidden at the ends).

Not just the number of coils, but the length and possibly even the O.D. of the shaft, that the srping is wrapped around...

I was going to shorten the stem a touch and also machine the brass base to match the screen used

Just a little up date I have started machining the brass parts on these
‘I will have 35 hooks once finished
if you would like one let me know and I can put you in the list
