T800 project

The first of many test builds, the parts are proving to be a bit tricky so the going is slow :rolleyes I may jumb over to the resin one for a bit so I can feel like I'm achieving results a bit quicker, I'v been reluctant to do to much in the way of putting back together of the resin parts in fear that I may stuff up an alloy bit and need to recast it, but now that I'v got the chest sorted I thing I'll go with that, plus it would be kinda cool to see 2 Terminators growing together :p

Had the forge working for my son, he need foot pegs for his motorbike, so I cast up the little disc bits at the same time, may end up using them, we'll see...
The alloy one has started bugging me a bit because of how slow going it is.

I'm going to be reassembling as much as I can of OzDean's resin one as for now....

First reassembly of one of the larger cut up parts "Torso" there is still a lot of of tidy up to do before I can seperate the front and back and make moulds, but it's so much quicker than the alloy, took about two days to get to this stage, to get to the same piont with the alloy took about two weeks :rolleyes :lol

This is certainly outstanding....I am a huge Terminator fan and collector...this is definitely a work of art sir.....wow....

Been watching your build for quite a while now, really mind boggling, Awesome just seems like such a vast understatement.

Do you have any ballpark figure of what he's going to weigh when assembled (I get a feeling I wouldn't want him treading on my toes, LOL)?

Roughneckone :cool

Building a Terminator is impressive enough, but an entire Terminator made of actual metal is just crazy awesome. Looking perfect so far.
And a fellow Australian too! :D Would love to get to see this in person some day.

I've been amazed by the whole build - but that last video knocked me out of my seat! Not on;y are you doing this, but you're doing it freehand!! Good grief, I thought you had all kinds of drilling rigs and stuff set up, and there you go zup! zup! zup! drilling holes with a hand drill and tapping with a die and wrench.

This only proves one thing: you are a machine yourself. You're building a brother!! :lol

I'm doing the joints so they can be locked so it could free stand, but with it's weight and balace issuses he'll probably have a hidden support as well.

Looking good!

BTW: I have 2 skulls. Next one I win on EBay I'll ship straight to you if you don't already have one.
