T800 project

Started doing more on getting the spine parts shaped, looks like there will be solid section through the torso with the neck and the lower spine articulated, still quite a bit of re-sculpting to do to get it right, but looks like the idea working so far.....
 
Incredible!! I real T-800 Endoskeleton coming to life here, love the T2 soundtrack in the background. Can't wait to see more updates!

Ok, I now have enough of the aloy parts to pretty accurately calculate the weight of our new freind.... Any guesses ??? you may be suprised, I was...
 
It's still pretty rough, this is the sculpt up of the peice that will join the spine to the neck, it's not a big deal realy because it will be mostly hidden by the back plate and the shoulder motors, but I'm trying to make it look like a hybrid part, I'm also going to have a mounting point for hydraulic cables in it, can't find any reference pix to support the idea, but it seems a logical place to have some.....
 
This is inspiring in a "i'm never gonna reach this level" kinda way.

The first half of the central spine and a cupple of leg pistons, now that I have the larger crusible I'm planning on casting the pistons as extras each meltdown....
