T800 project

My God man, this is stunning. I can't wait to see this finished.
The only way to top this would be to install hydraulics and an AI system!
*although that is NOT recommended ;)

Mid prep, my 18 year old son kicked his toe, bit of blood so Dr Dad has to check him out... He's fine so back to work.... I put the the top half of the mold on and pour in the alloy and with the mold now full the underside of the mold cracked spilling the liquid metal in a terrifying T1000 like stream.... **** RUN !!!! I'd forgoten to settle the base and the terminal shock blew out it out....

Ok bog alert... Strarted work on the spine it's basically a re-sculpt, but the the good news is that I only need to make up one part to join the neck and spine it looks like it will be the same point as the sholder motors are mounted, I'm thinking of doing a custom part that will alow for the movement of the motors.....The best guess on the size/lenght is 51cm 20 inches anyone that knows it for sure please let me know....
 
Success... The cast ended up being the 3 parts, I'm pretty happy with the quality on these bits and the front and back look to line up nicely, there in a bit of cutting to do to get the the details back but it not as bad as the skull... Once I get the clean up done on the spine I hope to start working out assembly points
 
Here's a bit more "new" battery cover ,fixing the shape and thickening of the lower torson piece may have a go as casting them today....
 
Cut off the extra parts of aloy and a did bit of clean on the back plate, the joins matches up well should polish up nicely....

Cool thread. This is like watching a tv series and getting ready for the finale!
You better hope when you are done he doesn't turn to you and say "I need your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle!" :)
