T1 and T2 Endoskeleton Research Thread

In the screen used section someone is uploading the old Profiles in History auction PDFs and in Hollywood Auction #17 there is a picture of the EMP Museum endoskull on page 82, and on page 83 there is a picture of an endoskeleton lot showing the chest to pelvis piston being joined with one of the pistons inside the chest connecting to the bottom of the shoulder motor piece, though it is a little hard to tell how they are connected. So... I should probably do that with my models. :)

Reminding myself why I'm doing this.

I started watching this video some days ago and had to stop as I was starting a chat with my friend, and completely forgot to come back to it. Thanks for posting it. Gonna view the whole thing now.

The new photogrammetry tool neurolangelo or something similar seems to be a really powerful tool that uses AI to complete and perfect the model. Wanted to check that out too.

"Gaussian Splatting" perhaps?

Came across this playlist on youtube and remembered I had seen it years ago. He adds some cool movements to the endoskull. He has 4 videos in the playlist... I believe there may have been 5 as a part 2 of one of the videos is missing and I vaguely remember seeing it.

Just watched the videos. Love the moving eyes on the bust and that papercraft is just so impressive given the materials especially.

Was allowed to link to the Profiles in History Auction catalogue pages here. So here are the pages for the EMP-Museum skull and the endoskeleton lot on the other page. It is clear that the lot has been split up, as I have seen bits and pieces of it here and there in different collections. Heck, the chest plate is the one Propstore auctioned off in 2016 or 2017 that I was the second highest bidder on.

Worked on recreating the ankle ball joint piece from the scan. Once again used the ball joint models I had already created for the piston rod ends to finish out this piece and will add the ball model to the ankle model once I get that finished - so far I've only finished the rear ankle rod on that piece.

The angled cut-out on the scanned part looks steeper, but it is simply caused by the casting bending slightly inwards towards the top, so I just went with measurements for that instead.

Hopefully things will fit together.

Unsure whether I posted this and whether he's a member here - I think I saw someone post similar pictures to the endo as seen in the second video, primed and standing in the garden, but am unsure.

Actually like the endoskeleton in just plain black. Just wish he would pull the shoulders in a bit, so the vertical rings were level with the width of the chest.

I wonder if I should make the style of ball joint inserts he made for the bottom of his legs and for his thighs.
