T1 and T2 Endoskeleton Research Thread

Interesting concept/idea as our faces are not symmetrical at all. A machined face (AI) should be perfect in terms of symmetry (y)
Great job rectifying the original man-made face to a machined one ghostman:cool::cool:(y)(y)

Primed. I will go back and paint all the grooves with a brush, so they are also primed and will then be able to be picked up easier by the scanner.

Sorry for the small image... it was dark and it turned out a little blurry because I couldn't hold my hands still.

Thanks for the illustration and explanation. I've been trying to get into photogrammetry for a while, but most of the apps for it doesn't work on my old phone... and many of the online options are either paid or limited in how many photos you can upload. Is your agisoft metashape a paid verison or did you do the photogrammetry during the trial period?
I bought Agisoft Metashape Standerad.
There are other photogrammetry software out there, so compare before you choose.

That looks sooo much better in primer. You can see the details better.

New scan. It's the best I'm probably ever going to get with this scanner.

I did both a 0.2mm and a 0.1mm scan, but the latter turned into a 2+GB stl file and it won't open in the programs I'm using, because it's so big. When I try to save it as an obj it doubles the size for no reason...

I'm trying to reduce it on the new computer, so I can work with it on the old one... but I'm having a lot of trouble with it. I need to read up on how to do it properly, so it won't screw up. I think I should probably try that quad remesher and then shrinkwrap the high poly file into the low poly quad file to get it to work... but anyway... here's a picture. Sorry it looks like this, but I couldn't do a render... so had to photograph the screen with my phone camera.

Solved the issue by doing a new fuse and limited the amount of triangles to 8 million. It even made the file size smaller than the 0.2mm scan, while keeping all the sharp 0.1mm scan details, so I'll probably keep using that limitation to keep the file size down.

That's a very accurate scan.
By the way, here is a contact scan I took a long time ago.
This is a 1/3 cinemaket. I polished it later.

Anybody on here who got a chance to see the blow-up T1 skull when it was up for auction at Propstore back in September 2018 and was able to take a ****-load of pictures of it? I'm hoping someone has good pictures of some of the areas not shown in the auction, such as the rear port cover.

I haven’t been able to find any pics of that skull except the auction pics. There’s got to be some somewhere.

I’m trying to dig up my old hard drive for the pics I have of the Tomenosuke shop Endo for Carsten at the moment. I have many. It’s probably the best example of an Endo out there. Mix of T1 and T2 screen used as well.

Zombie Killer - that yellow resin colored skull is from the same mold that made the one used to create my foam skull. I researched it here and found several key details that match up. And things that didn't that made it clear it wasn't the exact casting that made the foam skull mold.

I researched it here: Information Gathering: SWS One-Piece Endoskull

You have some great pictures among those. :)

Gizmo - really appreciate it and I agree. That really is one of the coolest looking endoskeletons. That last shot gives me a slightly clearer view of what is going on at the front of the knee, where the knee-cap on the T2 usually obstructs the groove detailing from T1... and it made me more confused.

On the seventh picture in this auction endoskeleton... is the ball at the end of the chest to pelvis piston an eye casting? It has the same kind of grooves as the eyes.

I always wondered what happened with the posture of this Endo. If you look at the shot where it’s to Stan’s left in the book the posture is much different to how it is now. The mid section vertebrae and neck vertebrae have been extended a lot. I’m guessing it must have been pulled apart at some point and reassembled how it sits today. It was displayed at a Planet Hollywood for a number of years also.
