This is a replica of the Sword of Omens that was carried by Lion-O, Lord of the Thundercats. The sword comes with a light up feature and lights up the cat picture with the push of a button. The sword comes with its own horizontal stand decorated with the Thundercat emblem. The sword has red and blue stones fixed to the all metal handle for decoration.

Overall Length: 48"
Blade Length: 37"
Blade Material: 440 Stainless Steel

not to go off the beaten path, cuz that sword of Omens is pretty sweet, but does anyone know how accurate their Excalibur Replica is?

I wonder if you had this hanging on your wall and your non-prop collecting friends came over would they ask

"So, does the blade grow or something, when you yell Thundercats?"

If you want a shiny sword will be ok but if you want something accurate stay far away. Unfortunately I haven't seen any accurate replicas made. I'm hoping someone will prove me wrong. I member here is working on the dagger form and is off to a nice start.

If you mean the John Boorman film "Excalibur," it's nothing like it. Albion Armorers made a limited edition of their "Discerner" sword, which is a recreation of a real sword design which is said to have inspired the film version:

Yes, the John Boorman film

well that answers 2 things... 1: why I was looking at it sideways going... is that right?.... and 2: who makes a nice version of it

that is a sweet looking sword there

The Sword of Oments kind of looks like a fun thing to have on the wall, but for that price, I doubt it's very sturdy. Is it my imagination or does the metal on the blade look a little cheap?

I have seen quite a few cheap Sword of Omens replicas in the last few years. But this one is so far the closest to accurate. Even with the sideways symbol on the hilt. The others were just plain horrible.

I just bought one. I plan on replacing the "eye/symbol" with a custom piece. Im going to cast the lense in transparent dark red and placing a vinyl logo over it.

Lets hope it works out!
