Ok, this may end up working out quite well, or crash and burn in a horrible way. Either way, Im doing it. I first came around the idea that should the pred cloaking camouflage fail (which its seems to happen regularly, bloody technology) then Pred as hard he may be, is going to be running around with little or no camouflage on to break up his shape. So I thought Id try applying the idea of digi cam, or 'MARPAT' type military camouflage, a fairly new concept/type of pattern that works when the said person or object wearing the camouflage is among the relevant theatre/environment and the pattern significantly breaks up the shape. Traditionally printed cam has been of the type of big wavy lines and one or two colours, but digi cam with all the little dots confuses the brain more and works much better. Plus with the nature of the pred, i.e higher technology, it only seems appropriate to apply the modern type to him. Anyway, just spent an hour in the garage at a first attempt on a first base colour on top of the normal grey silver, Im working on jungle colours, green, olive and the odd black. So far this is the result. Im off to the pub to think about what Ive done. Comments, ideas, the odd laugh appreciated as always!
As I said, this is just about the first base colour...........
