Survivor: Heroes vs Villains Discussion Thread - Spoilers

When looking at a video, scroll down and you will see the other vids and the option for more pages, which I highlighted with a box and arrow.

Thanks!

Okay, just watched them. Interesting for sure, to see where they go and what they do. However, I'm still ambivalent about hearing the jury members discuss the game, who they like and don't like, et cetera. I hate spoilers. But having watched all the videos, I don't feel spoiled.

Alright, the finale is tonight! Anyone want to guess who makes it to the end and who wins?

I think Russell, Parvati and Sandra make it to the end. Sandra wins.

I say the end with be Russell, Jerri, and Colby....not sure why...if not Colby, then Parvati. Jerri wins.

Either way, I can NOT wait until tonight! Russell made it to the last episode and the recap starts at 6 here. I have chicken marinading in a california sun dried tomato marinade, a few things to go with, 12 pack of corona with lime, and my girl to sit next to me. It's gonna be a good night :)

That's great, my GF and I were also planning a dinner to go with tonight's festivities.

Without knowing what the challenges are, I can't possibly make a prediction. Immunity plays such a huge role during the final episode, not just because it saves the neck of a couple individuals, but also because whomever has the necklace wields the most influence in determining who gets voted out.

Having said that, and given my eternal optimism, I hope Russell makes the final three.

And having said that, and given my eternal optimism, I hope the jury members represent themselves better than last season's bitter, sour grapes jury, and they reward the castaway who dominated them, and dominated the season. Russell.

ps~obiwan2...what "recap"?

Ya know, I could've SWORN my DVR had a recap set up for 6:00 but when I just looked I don't see it :( Oh well...an hour and 20 mins before the final show starts! :)

The problem is that the vote is taken while emotions and hurt feelings are running so high. They should vote at the reunion show after everyone has a chance to think about it. Of course that could lead to corruption, lol. Still I'm sure the votes would be VERY different and I bet Russell would have won or at least gotten some votes. I can't believe his didn't get ONE vote. Wow

The vote tally made sense when it came down to who made enemies on the jury.... and in the end, that's the game.

Jeff tried so hard to explain it; the problem isn't the game, it's that Russell isn't playing it right. And even after losing, again, and having it pointed out to him, he still doesn't get that it's always been about a balance between lasting longer and not alienating yourself. You have to count the votes you're going to get on the jury as you watch them being voted out - the only person he even sort of did that with was Jerry, and he was wrong about her.

I have to give one thing to Russell for being a tad bit consistent... even though he didn't see hiding the immunity idols from him was a good strategic move (what he would do in their place), he didn't get angry or indignant with Sandra for burning his hat. I thought that was low, but he took it in stride as something he might have done, so he's not 100% troll, just 98% ;)

Just like last season, Russell was robbed because the jury voted against the best player and instead awarded a totally undeserving participant.

What a let down.

Sandra is a terrible player and just generally unpleasant.

Russell was robbed again.

Agreed. :thumbsup I know the girls will argue against this and Julia does have something of a point about their being 2 aspects to the game, but much like Russell said tonight, I just don't care at all about that second part of the game... and maybe as Jeff retorted, that makes it something other than Survivor, but for the part of the show that actually interests me and seems to interest a lot of people, Russell has been one of the best and most exciting players to watch. He isn't infallible, but he has absolutely DOMINATED virtually every aspect of two seasons and I don't know anyone else who has done that.

Sandra ONLY won so that Russell would lose. I would have preferred to see Partviti win over Sandra... I didn't like her very much but at least she did SOMETHING to deserve it. Sandra didn't do a single thing.

Russell couldn't get mad aboutt he hat as he did the same thing the season before by burning someones socks.

Rupert won the fans million dollar package so him not gettin the hundred thousand
last night was no big loss. I am glad Russell at least got that. he is the one who made
the last two seasons so enjoyable to watch. I want to see how the next season will
top this one.

The finale was a bit of a let down but it was a great ride along the way.
