Supernatural Props.What Ya Got... 4 Years 2010-2014

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

Awesome stuff man, love that Wilsons and the first knife especially.

Also, I'm not sure if there's anyone here who can help but does anyone know what song is used for, well I don't have a name for it but I call it the 'Supernatural riff' lol. It was used a lot in earlier seasons, I think the first time we hear it is in the pilot when Dean pops open the dash to grab the fake I.D's. The first part of it sounds identical to the first guitar riff in Lunatic Fringe by Red Rider but then it changes.
Here's a link to Lunatic Fringe so you guys know what I mean:
Red Rider - Lunatic Fringe - YouTube

It's an original song composed for the show, it's called "Silly Brothers Theme"

Hey curious how big is the knife overall on the bowie from Phantom Traveler, I always seem to find the smaller bladed knife of that...the one in that episode is pretty big, Guessing about a 8" blade

The blades actually only 6.5", I think there is a bigger version of the same knife but I figure 6.5" makes more sense when the knife is going to be your under the pillow "Precaution" knife as it was for Dean.

You guys rock lol. Looks like I just found my new ringtone lol. I'm actually kind of surprised they were aloud using the same riff from Lunatic Fringe, I wonder if they had to get some kind of permission or something. But thanks again guys, I've been looking for it forever but for some reason it never crossed my mind to check the official soundtrack haha

I hear ya, I had a rip of that as my ringtone for ages until I found a rip of Dean's actual ring tone, now I have that and a clip of "Heat of The Moment" complete with radio click as my alarm every morning.

OMG that's too funny..never thought about using that for an alarm...RISE AND SHINE SAMMY....lol Where can I get a FREE download for a cellphone anywya..the only Dean's ringtone I've seen is partial of that guitar rift that Dean uses. Be grateful for a file, link or something. Also..I think that knife just looks bigger cause Sam is holding it more so at the bottom of the handle. Thanks for the info.

and heres the Heat of The Moment clip

I must have accidentally deleted the version with the radio click so it's just the song but its the exact part of the song used in the episode.

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

Dude awsome stuff! Great to see you here on the forum. I didn't know you had a wilsons' jacket too, must have missed that on filmjackets. What size is yours?

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

Ok guys :) here are the pics as requested. The first one is of Deans bracelet from various angles, I have studied hours of footage and I believe my bracelet is a true exact replica I have also spent hours upon hours finding the exact beads. The rest are of the bracelet that I make. Thanks Amanda :)

Did you say you make these yourself, It looks a lot like the ebay braclets to me. Did you actually carve these by hand or simply arrange the beads accurately? I'm not just having a dig just for giggles here if I was to be asking money for these I'd definately need to make that point clear. I'm just saying this because the beads appear to have mould lines across them which leads meto believe they're the same plastic beads from ebay and aren't entirely accurate. Don't get me wrong there's definately no problem with that if it is the case but I wouldn't be expecting to sell them for excessive prices.

Great collection, mate :)

Hi Supernaturalfan,

I hope you don't take this the wrong way but you do seem to have a dig at other people to on here about there items, including mine. These beads are not plastic, the black and white ones are made from Ox bone and the brown ones are made from wood, exactly the same as the one Dean wears. What mild lines are you referring to? As I am not sure what you mean, they are hand carved beads and have various indentations just like Deans. I think the way you word your posts can come across as being quite rude but that might be just me. As in my previous posts this is an exact replica to Deans in bead, size, shape, colour, material and bead pattern. At the end of the day you have the choice to buy one if you wish that is your decision. Also I didn't even state a price so what leads you to believe the price will be excessive?

Thanks Amanda :)

It's a large. I actually just signed up over at filmjackets the other day and got my activation email yesterday. That site seems pretty awesome and I can't wait to start really checking it out.

Agreed, whenever I need a jacket and its just a bit too warm for the leather jacket I almost always wear that one. Also if your super impatient like me and don't want to have to take the jacket down somewhere, the epaulettes aren't what hard to remove yourself. I just took a good knife with a nice sharp tip and went thread by thread cutting them where it was sewn on, whole process probably took about 20 minutes give or take.

Oh I thought you were already on FJ.com, I got a little mixed up because there's another user over there with the username TheMechanic lol.

I was the opposite when I got mine, it was probably my least favorite Dean jacket but now it's probably the one I wear the most, even more than the Commander Slub jacket. The epaulettes are really easy to remove yourself, I sat down with a decent seam-ripper and it took me about 20-30 minutes to get both off.

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

I was only trying to determine if these beads were made by hand be it either yourself or by whoever. You previous post made it sound as if you simply sourced the beads and arranged them accurately, which is entirely fine if you did that's no crime. I was mearly suggesting that if you did so you make it clear. If I've unintentionally offended you then I apologise.

Travisses previously did so by combining the beads from several ebay bracelets to create an accurate one. Pretty ingenious actually. I mearly wanted to know if you've done the same.

Hi,

Ok I am sorry maybe I took it the wrong way and apology accepted :) just the way you said it seemed a bit harsh and presumptuous. Ok these are not like the ones on eBay, I have a deal with someone (a friend now) who hand carves these beads for me, they are not the cheap plastic ones, they are from bone and wood. It took me a long time to find the beads and the person who was willing to do them for me. I too bought ones from eBay and was not satisfied with the quality of beads and design so I made my own, which like I said believe to be the exact replica of Deans. I found this forum and thought others would be interested in my bracelets too :)
Hope that answers you questions, thanks Amanda :)

You've given me the courage to go and have a go!!! :) My project this week......

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

Very very sweet stuff!!!!(y)thumbsup

Not sure if in this thread or not but. I thought someone mentioned Deans ring tone on his phone. I have that as my ringer for my phone. I went to the youtube link to the HQ version downloaded video converted video to mp3 then converted to ringtone and put in on my phone. WORKS awesome!

In case you want to know: I used firefox with the flash download them all add-on it once installed it gives you a download option under youtube vids. I then used Any video converter (freeware) to convert the video to mp3 and then used Bit Pim (freeware) to convert it to a ring tone...

Here is mp3 version..you may need to use Bit Pim to convert it to ring tone depending on your phone. Bit Pim allows to set the clip segment you would like to use from the mp3's http://www.dragonstonemedia.com/sup/Deans_Ringtone.mp3

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

Concerning the Dean's mala bracelet I have come up with another pattern that I believe is exact. Please forgive me but I used someones picture to cut and make the order correct based on my observation:

Here are the reference files that I used to finalize my conclusion:

Here are all of the screengrabs that I have come across with skull brace in it:

Let me know what YOU see...:)

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

Just a small request that hopefully someone here can help with. I'm thinking about altering the collar on my M-65 to match Dean's but does anyone have any shots that show the strip of material that replaces the zipper? These are the best shots I can find but they show a solid collar.
