superhero costume forum ?

I think it's also important in the words we use like "crappy." Other forums have costumers who try their best with limited materials. It is possible to set high standards without being insulting to others who do it just for the enjoyment. Just my two cents.

Well... *I* knew what you were talking about.

Over on the BOTB (not that I make the end-all-be-all of a Batman costume), but there's couple of kids over there... :rolleyes

'Nuff said.

But, The BOTB started out as and still tries to maintain the whole "Do it yourself" mentality... Even though there's QUITE a few talented guys over there, making some unbelievable suits. So, there's a pretty 50/50 mix, that seems to work out pretty well.


Stating exactly what's "standard", IS a hard thing to do in the superhero world, for reasons already said.

I think the 350 pound Princess Leia in a slave bikini outfit is what's being referred to here. :lol And the neon green clown wigs being passed off as The Joker hair. :rolleyes

And not that Foamies are necessarily a bad thing... :unsure They just... Well...

No worries, Ramiel. Gundam, it would just be something available for those interested, like a support group. I can appreciate your position. I'm 6' and I eat and work out to try to be 180 lbs ripped. I tip the scale at about 171 at roughly 12% bf. With today's economy, eating the protein required makes it near impossible for me. But maintaining a healthy and nutritious diet is still key to being in shape. Then again, most folks may not be interested in something like this. Anyway, it's just a thought.

I second that. As long as the quality of the armor and you are proportionwise will look good in the costume then i think that is a great idea.

Well i need some inputs.
Right now we are designing some of the forum and i need some inputs based on my idea.

To start with i want to make the Forum easy and simple. And then as more members come section it more up. Its important in a start to have activity in the forum. If we devide it up to much now i belive people will post in many different sections and activity will drop.

The idea is now to just make one costume page. But with sub category of Armor and fabric.

Then later one when we get more members make it into

• Comic Marvel
• Movie Marvel Costumes

• Comic DC
• Movie DC Costumes

I also plan to make 2 different Status of the costumes

Elite Super Heros (Highest quality based of Movie design)
Superheros (Highest quality based on comic books)



NOW I NEED YOUR HELP!
What other pages to start with do you recomend.

I first thought of Armored Heros. But i think that narrows to many costumes...

I want a name that can be reconiced, build up a brand, A design or logo that people will memorize. It must be focus on worldwide / universal group since it shal be know arround the world and easy to spot.

Any suggestions are most welcome pr PM.

Just a small suggestion. Have a category for Superhero costumes that are not DC or Marvel. There are a few other companies out there, not as big sure but I see lots of costumes from other comics as well. Even just one more category that covers all other costumes:thumbsup
