Well, it's been a long time coming. Luckily Steve's been understanding enough to let me bounce around to a few other projects while working on this. I was pretty obsessed with getting a huge amount of accuracy in the paint but that was really just keeping me from completing the helmet.

I feel like I've maybe gotten close-ish to the original and hopefully you can see a certain amount of it replicated in what I've done. At the very least I've tried to pay homage to it. Hope you guys like it . . .

Thanks Gene.  I've been looking forward to Matts resculpt of his P1 bio for some time.  Though the sculpts done it seems like SS is really taking their time.  Curious how the final product will turn out.

I gave Matt and Chad my master copy for the finishing touches of the SS bio .. chad shot me over pics of the finished sculpture ..they were both surprised how close they got with only old reference pics ..as for new castings ..the old mld is shot and i no longer have it ..ha ..Chad and i have been playing tag with my master ..ill try and grab it this week to remold
