Stranger Things (Netflix)

Yeah I hope they don't do it either. It's seems like a cool concept in theory, but often it's been overused and typically creates problems for the narrative if handled poorly. It's like 3D. Sounds cool, and sometimes is, but more often it detracts from the experience, especially when introduced late into the story.

Unless it's done right like the Back To The Future trilogy.
I don't mind TT when it's an integral part of the story like BTTF (always easier to take in a comedy) or Looper. When it gets pulled out of nowhere at the end of a story it feels like an "easy" fix to me.

Plus with a concept that big, it often works best when the story is built on it rather than having it be a small part of a larger story. It can work as a small part, but it has to be used well to work.

To me, this past season pushed the story a bit too far in certain areas and if the series is going to end on a high note I think they need to rein it in rather than go bigger.

I think they just mean Russia. They have thier own "program" and I suspect Hopper will be part of it now, given his situation.

This should be the last season right? I recall a few years ago the creators saying it was 4 and done.

They did say that a while back, but I feel that was them thinking the popularity my fall off by this point. With this popularity soaring and with the old saying - money talks - I am thinking they will milk this a few more seasons.

Hopper is back! DH just posted a ST:4 teaser on his IG
