Stormtrooper Costume Question

I am just wondering what size/type rivets anyone has used on their stormtrooper costume. On the modifications I have found, they use rivets to secure the ammo pouch, knee pad, and belt. What type and size rivet would be best to use for tyhis application? Thanks

i have used most sizes. there really isnt a need for rivets on a stormtrooper. at all. you can build one with just the supplied or purchased ABS glue that came with your kit. (found at home depot/lowes).

ammo pouch should be attached to your backpack and or belt via the loops. the knee pas should be glued, the belt is either bolted together or glued.

I hope this helps

I think he is looking to find what the ORIGINAL costumes used. And they WERE riveted. 6 on the left side. couple on the right. 3 on the belt 2 on the sniper knee... etc etc. Deffinately check the FISD! :)

If you WERE asking how you could assemble them, and aren't worried about screen used accuracy... you can deffinately get by without rivets! E6000 and velcro are your friends! :)

Again the FISD is the place to be for all things TK! :thumbsup

couldve sworn rivets were not allowed. either way, you don't need rivets at all to put together a TD.

The rivets are not allowed on the shoulder straps for FISD EI approval. That is a common mistake because on guides on armor building do recommend that. You can use them on the battery pack on the thigh, knee plate, and side gap.
