Stolen Superman comic found

So what makes them think it's nicholas cages? Is there some sort of identifying mark on its bag/board/whatever its in to prove it?

Man, there's only a hundred of those things left in existence. People know those things like a kidnapped kid says My Name is Steven.

But what I mean is that sometimes these things can just show up. Who's to say that this wasn't joe somebody's comic. For instance it could be "grandpa's old comic" that they threw in storage without realising what it was worth. If the thief had any inkling of what it was worth, would he really keep it in a storage facility? I can understand him hiding it so they won't find it, but I think a safety deposit box is better then a sliding door protected by a padlock.

Not to mention if it IS his, then whoever owned the room before should be in cuffs.

The person who authenticated the comic had sold Cage the same comic in 1995. I am assuming that they kept photos and notes as to the condition - given how rare the comic is and that it was both unrestored and in such high grade.

I watch Storage Wars all the time - love the show. I seem to remember an episode where one of the featured players was talking about his biggest score and it was a storage locker filled with a fantastic comic collection. There were pictures of him holding copies of X-Men # 1 and other vintage primo comics - I wonder if this is connected to that or just a coincidence.

i heard this on the radio a few weeks ago......maybe nic cage should consider selling it to pay off his taxes or his defense attorney for his recent mess
