Aren't we always complaining about effects-laden pieces with lousy writing and poor acting?

Given the tradeoff, I think they - and you- made the right choice.

That engineering set was painted (or repainted) to be Klingon for ST4, it is where Spock figures out the Whale Songs…
And the tube is shown behind a window as the Klingon Crystal chamber.

Thanks for the great pics. I think I see a new project on the horizon. The switches on the communicator look like modified ones off of the an-prt4a. My brother has one of these, it is a Vietnam era helmet radio.

Im sorry.

I hate that Communicator.

I was so disgusted when I saw it,..I remember, thinking of they SCREWED UP the COMMUNICATOR, the rest of the movie is probably gonna suck.

Luckily, it didnt.

However, you could HAND me the original screen used prop and I probably say "No thank you"

I like to pretend it never happened. Kind of like... ALIEN III
