I don't know if this has been posted, but here we go, the New Series TARDIS with updates for the new series. frankly I really like it and I think that the additions are a nice hat tip to the original series. which include

1) real fresnel lens in the gaurdsman lantern
2) St. Johns ambulance badge
3) White door sign, rather then the silver metal
4) white window frames
5) brass handles, unpainted.

Damn that redhead is cute.. but.. WHY change the TARDIS exterior design? It's practically traditional to change the interior, but there's no need for the exterior. By definition it's STUCK in a particular appearance that can't be changed.

Well there have been so many variations over the years I am not surprised. For a full break down on all the incarnations of the "unchangeable" tardis go here

Breaks it down from the original Brachacki to the Edward Thomas Box (NST)

I like it, I wonder if, as they are calling it Season One, that this incarnation of the Doctor will be Hartnell in his early years...

Yea, the redhead is cute, not liking the windows on the new tardis, are they planning on changing the inteior too?

Exactly what I was thinking. As, IMHO, Hartnell was the best Doctor I'm certainly hoping that's the case. Perhaps we'll finally find out if Susan really was his granddaughter (Professor River Song anyone).

The new Tardis, is it a bit bigger?

I'm looking forward to the new show because of Moffat's abilities. I can't say I care for the costume much, but that's hardly been a factor for me. Give me well written episodes and I'm there.

I'm not sold on this new guy but I'm going to give him a chance. He's got huge shoes to fill though.

Oh, that would be interesting...

Catherine Tate came back for the final Christmas episode where Tennant regenerates...

I wonder if the Doctor-Donna regenerates as well into this new redhead companion?

hmmmm....

It's definitely a brighter and cleaner tardis compared to the Eccleston/Tennant one.

I love the new design, always liked the St Johns Ambulance logo on the Hartnell TARDIS, as far as Matt Smith being Hartnells Dr I severely doubt it, it would mean that soon enough he would catch up to 'An Unearthly Child' the first aired Dr Who adventure

The TARDIS looks cool enough, but I really dislike that costume. I was hoping for something more flowing and rockstar.

I highly doubt they are doing a hartnell Doctor. this is the 11th Doctor and we know that Tenant is going to regenerate so they are just following along. I think that Moffat just wanted to put his stamp on it with theTARDIS and also the new console we will be getting with the new season.

Is it me or does that TARDIS look twice as big as it should?

And Horrible. Yuk!! Bad window frames.

If they have taken the exterior back closer to the original, is that maybe what they are doing with the interior?

I'm sure there's a good production reason why it's so big (Moffatt references some of the innacuraccies in 'Blink', after all) but it is definately growing:lol

Its the same size the new series TARDIS has always been, The only updating they did on it was a repaint and cosmetic changes to the hardware and such. Other then that..same size, same prop just upgraded.

If Matt Smith really is a younger Hartnell it could take hundreds of years for him to catch up to the events in "An Unearthly Child", depends on how old this new Doctor is meant to be (we know Hartnell was around for a few hundred years before he regenerated).

Having him be a young Hartnell would just be stupid. It would make no sense. It would be like Enterprise to Star Trek:TOS.

He's also named as the eleventh Doctor on the Doctor Who website. ;)

Well, i don't know about Rockstar looking but I was certainly looking for something more far removed from the nerd or geek look they used on 10...I dunno...I had seen so many great artist interpretations that I think that this just feels on par with the last Doctor...not as distinctive as I was hoping for the Doctor.
