Steve Harrington's costumes Stranger Things

Worth mentioning to this is that Quicksilver is apparently only doing one "batch" of the Stranger Things pieces. So once they're sold out, they're gone. The Steve pants runs a bit big so i would recommend going down a size. I'm usually 32x32 but went with a size Small.
Damn, S is already sold out and I'm a 29 so it might not even fit me anyway. Do they make any other more generic pants in a similar style/color? Is there a name for that type of pants I could look up on secondhand sites?

Where are you located? I could possibly help you out if needed, a shop in my country still have them in every size from XS to XXL :)

I'm in the US. I haven't even decided whether I'm going to do this outfit or not, but thanks for the offer. I'm sure they'll pop up on eBay and Poshmark eventually if I decide to go through with it. Good to know they come in XS, the US version of the site only goes down to S.

It’s the same with the Australian site, no XS. I got the last pair of smalls there. I’m interested to know how they fit

Not so current but I just found this shirt on Amazon, which the closest I've seen to what he wears in season 2. Not thrilled about the 50% poly content, but it's cheap so I'll probably order one and see how it is.

I bought that same exact shirt about a year or two ago, not bad. I’d recommend ordering a size up as it will shrink slightly, other than that decent shirt.

are the quick silver clothes for Steve accurate , the jacket for him from quicksilver seems really inaccurate

For the pants, the color at least looks right, and it looks like his pants in the show have a similar waistband and might be pleated, but I'm having a hard time finding decent Vol 2 images and I haven't found any at all where the pockets or hems are visible (where we'd be able to see whether the show pants have the light blue accent fabric there like the Quiksilver ones do).

There is a photo showing the back of the pants pretty ok and it has the same blue material. The jacket however is not accurate at seems to be more of an inspired kind of thing. It's mentioned earlier in this thread that the jacket is by style auto. There is a video with the Costume desginer that is definitely worth a watch.

Anyone know the style of jacket he wears in season 2 ep 1 with the red long sleeve polo. It looks like a Harrington but I cant workout what colour its specifically is
Not an exact match but this Polo Ralph Lauren shirt looks almost on the nose. Plus just seems like something Steve would wear.

Found this J Crew sweater that looks very similar to Steve’s iconic green sweater way back in season 1. Not 100% the same but definitely close enough.

I've been trying to hunt down the patches on Steve's army/navy surplus jacket to no avail. Wondering if they might have been custom and not real military patches?
I'm about 90% positive they are all custom patches that were made to just fly under the radar. Most people would assume they're real and not question them or look them up lol

But yeah I was looking before the episodes aired and even after with some more clear shots.and even readable text I can't find ANY of them.

One of the more well-known parts of Steve's attire is his Members Only jacket worn throughout the second half of the second season. The accurate colourway is the lighter 'silver grey' model as appose to the standard grey.
for a members only jacket would you recommend finding a repo or a genuine one ?

Real ones are pretty common on secondhand clothing sites like Poshmark and eBay, keep an eye out and you should be able to find one before too long.

ah cool thanks , how accurate are the repo ones ? and where would you recommend getting a repo one ?

Personally I wouldn't recommend getting a replica, as Cameron1138 said real ones are fairly common and would be a lot cheaper than purchasing a replica. Members Only have a staple style and cut which has remained synonymous with the brand since the start. Steve wears a newer model one in the show (which is identifiable from the long zipper) however the design is identical to jackets from the 80's. End of the day, they're not going anywhere anytime soon so you may as well pick up the real deal.

ah cool thanks what year jacket does Steve wear or what particular model / colour of jacket would you need type in to find one ? also where the members only jackets just sold in the US ? also when you said Steve wears a newer model do you mean the one in the show is a repo and not an original jacket ?

By 'repo', do you mean unlicensed replicas, or modern reproductions made by the same company? If you mean unlicensed replicas, I'm not aware of there being any for Members Only jackets (they're cheap enough that it probably wouldn't be worth the trouble/risk to make them), except for those 'cosplay jacket' sites that use stolen stock images and screenshots from the show and never have images of the actual products (which I'd definitely avoid). If you mean modern reproductions, that's what Camturner26 is saying Steve wore in the show, so while a new jacket may not be as period-accurate as a vintage 80s one, it would still be screen-accurate.

I mean like the ones made by member only but the new ones , ( I think they have a website ) did Steve wear the modern reproduction one made by members only in the show tho ?
