Starship Troopers - Traitor of Mars Inspired Helmet

Every now and then you see a piece and you instantly think "gotta have it." As more years roll by, that feeling comes more rarely, but when I saw these helmets created by Steffen Werner and the Starship Troopers German Division I HAD to have it. This is an AWESOME upgrade on the original idea.

The faceguard cleverly snaps on via magnets and underneath you have the SST helmet we all know and love. I am looking forward to customizing this piece, weathering it up and making it my own.

awesome. Yeah this seems like a good replica. Is it cast on a screenused helmet? we can see a lot of scratches, paint layers, wobbly details. It looks awesome

I thought it was cast from screenused as well, but it isn't. Here is a video of how it was made.

So I finally finished this piece up. I really enjoyed working on it, especially some of the more subtle colors and nasty gack around the portholes in the cheeks, but ultimately, I am not going to keep it.
