For greater accuracy, you need to black out the two rows of square buttons above the keypad, as well as the play, pause, stop and fast forward/rewind buttons in the bottom corner. But it still looks cool. :cool

I didn't black out the buttons because I still use it as a remote .

Got this Al'Kesh from SD Studios. Has LED's in the engine and bomb bays, just gotta make up a base and get to radio shack for some switches and battery holders to rig up the 3v and 6v needed. This was originally mastered by Kip, and this was a display prototype as a possible licensed run that never happened. Also got a kit of this not to long ago to build up too & the detail is pretty sweet. *Pokes Kip to offer more Stargate kits* 18 inch round Ha'tak kit pretty please

And the biggie from the last set of ebay auctions. It's a shame this thing doesn't actually work and that SG:U is most likely history (can't see another channel picking it up). Would have been cool to swap bodies and get a set visit.

I don't have any physical progress to show just yet, but I'm finally starting on a replica of the Telchak "Fountain of Youth" cube device from season 7's "Evolution" parts 1 & 2:

Been sitting on the project for years because I couldn't ever reproduce the side panels quite to my liking. Now, with the advent of affordable 3D printing services, my prototype (and if it came out right, my casting master) side panel should be on my doorstep sometime this week.

A number of years ago, I used a crappy auction photo I found of one of the screen used pieces to make my own 3D model. I recently found some even better photos of the exact prop seen above, and was able to verify that my Ancient glyphs are pretty much spot-on. I'm pretty excited to finally get this moving! Assuming that I can indeed use the 3D print to cast more panels, I'll be sure to post some pics of the (probably very slow :lol) process as I put it together.
