Cheech - have you been able to screen match this? I have an identical chevron which came from Legends a couple of years ago but I've never found a shot of it. Its background quality at best.

Honestly, ive been working with the actually stargate's for the past year, and these look nothing like the real one's AT ALL, and i've seen them all, held them all, not to say that your piece is not real, I have no clue, but to my eye, they look like fan made pieces made by legends

I guess anythings possible, I've never seen Paul and Angie pass anything off that was fraudulent.... Unless propworx has blueprints for the Atlantis gate. I know I remember something about the 1st season of Atlantis thy had problems with the lighting of the gate and I'm pretty sure Mallozzi's or someone's blog had picks of some heat damaged chevrons from the internal lights. It might be they redid the light design and the chevron construction, but unless some production prints/notes or someone in the know from the set crew chimes in we may not know.

I agree, I've never seen them sell something that was a fake, nor do I think they ever would, I've just never seen one look like that, but I'm not a expert either, for all I know it is the real deal, it looks fantastic, I've just never seen one before.

A box from Propworx arrived today with my Live Auction 1 items. I've been anxiously awaiting this package for weeks.

OMG! I just got done flipping through the blueprints.

Full set of schematics for the Stargate lot #2, most are are black n white production copies, a couple are white n blue originals. Several are 1:1 for the wedge shape and internal details/mechanisms for the dialing ring. Plus all the close up detail measurements. Like all the gate blueprints I've ever seen, this one still shows the movie style top chevron that frames the glyph to be locked so I could build either style gate.

I stopped bidding on the 'SGC command silo complex master plans set' lot #7 and let the other guy get it at the 3k mark (think it was that high) and decided to go after Lot 13 'Children of the Gods' set/concept plans. I'm glad I did as I got if for less, it contains everything of the SGC master set... floor plans, lighting, star map, dialing room console layout... plus the Abydos & Chulak set plans.

I had also managed to pick up the larger Iris Concept art and one of the Sarcoppogus schematis, and a screen used Mitchel patch set.

Just got in my full Jaffa outfit and skull cap.

If anyone knows any renaissance/medieval leather sources for 1 piece molded skull caps, that's all the jaffa cap that I got really is. I was surprised it wasn't a thin slush polyurethane.

Should have something else to post pics of later this week most likely.

How are you all planning to display the pieces? Are you going to use special mannequins, or display cases?

cheech9898 I read on another thread that you recommended someone T-profiles, are you planning to build a display case out of these? Just asking because it was my plan, too (funny to see that we both had basically the same idea ) and wanted to see how a T-profile display case would work out.

Yea, I'm eventually going to buy some 80/20 aluminum extrusions on eBay to make a display case for a manequin. I'm stuck workin on my sisters remodel atm then have to do more oak trim finishing at my place before I have room to start putting up displays upstairs.

Got a shipping notice yesterday from Propworx for the final SG Ebay auctions from the other week, so I have one of Ronin's holsters, Ronin's blaster concept art, and a big recurrent prop in SG1 and SGU that'll fit in your palm due here monday afternoon.
