Stargate Props : Show us yours!

I think I posted this in the Workbench thread back in September, but here is a Staff I made from scratch for a friend. Start to finish 18 hours non-stop... never again!

I know there was a junkyard WTB thread looking for one of the Lightspeed "working" Stargate replicas and there were a number of people that had never heard about them or seen them and posted so in that thread. I snagged one recently so I thought I'd post a vid of it so the curious got a peak at it that had never seen one.

Officially there were 195 of them made. They're identical to the static stargates on the offworld style base, except they have light up chevrons and it plays the 'locking sound' only. Sorry for the poor quality of the vid but the digicam is on it's last leg and I didn't expect the digicam mic to pick up the TV in the livingroom (that had SG-1 on) and you can hear Walter calling out a dialing sequense :lol.

Anyway. I'll make a few more posts in the next day or so, should have more stuff coming from Propworx.

OK, so how about a screen-used TER?

Modified TER gun used by the bounty hunter Aris Boch in the the Season 3 episode, "Deadman Switch". One of two TER guns that were modified for use in the production of this episode. Molded in hard rubber with machined aluminum add-on pieces.

I noticed alot of the small pistols used by that evil italian looking bad guy, you know the one, from the episode where the guy has that green protection emulate episode where he's the hero of the town, anyway, the pistols are actually painted beretta 92s with the TimeCop shell on the outside. They are all over the series.

One of my favorite pieces, love the TER and this modded one is bad ass!

Love Stargate...such a shame we most likely won't be getting anymore direct to DVD movies. I only own a few things but the only screen used prop I own is a replicator block. I have an open zat, the glacier glasses, the green and a black offworld jacket and Ronan's gun.

Very nice gate Cheech. I had never heard of one either until it was mentioned here. Definatly a rare piece :thumbsup

I hate you Docholl.. :p You have too much great stuff ! Seriously though, great prop from a great character. How much does that weigh if you dont mind me asking? Must be a decent weight to it.

GB Dan...ive seen that pic before and always think thats the best scratch built staff ive seen around. Great work man!

While im waiting on items to arrive, I decided to get another frame and get the gate prints done

Just broke down and bought a new Cannon Powershot 12.1 megapixel digital camera after my old Sony 4.0 has pretty much bit the dust lately. Just got done uploading good pics of the Replicator Pistol, Traveler's Pistol, Mrk II GDO (I'm pretty sure it is all aluminum, except the side turn wheel) and Anti-Replicator gun for those interested or needing reference.

Awesome pics, thanks for sharing! Love the anti replicator gun, one of my favorite pieces, and yes, the mark 2 is all metal, I love how they went all out on it even though it's barely seen on screen

Thats a great haul Cheech. Really liking the replicator pistol and anti replicator gun. Whats the weight like in the replicator pistol itself? Is it hard rubber or resin?

Just got in my latest batch of items.

The replicator pistol is rubber (no lights) and not very heavy at all. The ARG is rubber with lights and it weights a decent amount due to the metal stock rails... It feels pretty good in the hand weight wise.

Love the Ori armor and helm designs. That's a great snag on the helmet.

Uploaded pics to the photobucket album of the Torment of Tanelus art, a hero bayonet knife, and Judge's chair back. I should have the Gateroom Concept Art and Hero Ancient Hand Weapon here next Tuesday or Wednesday.

Fantastic photos, many thanks for sharing.....I love the replicator pistol!!! I'd love to buy some of the items from the auctions but unfortunately just outa my reach at the mo

Really nice pictures :D.. kwalsh0000 if you find the time could you take a picture of the back of the Super Soldier chest-plate? Thanks :D

Cheers lads. All i need now is the rest of the armor and i'm sorted.
Cant wait to see the other items you receive Cheech. A replicator block wall would be sweet to display the gun on.

Ask and you shall receive Stricky

Ok, so went to pick the tent topper up today, got tot stand at the wharehouse and wait for them to get, and o the wonders I saw! racks of BSG and Stargate clothes and other props laying around, and thsi was just from standing there, O how I want to work and play there lol looks like they got some iron man stuff in, saw the lifesize iron monger! very cool.

But yea, this thing was huge, they ahd to help me load it in the car, I thought it was one sided but alas its not so I cant hang it on the wall, dont know how im going to display it, maybe make a headboard for my bed lol but here ya go, think she'll fit in the display cabinet ;)

HAHA! The propworx gang is going to have to start putting disclaimers on the pictures "object may be larger than it appears" Still a cool item.

If you really want to hang it on the wall. I'm sure you could get a 4x4 or race car chassis shop that could bend the right diameter tube and weld it to a plate to make a bracket for you. You might even check to see if a halogen security light bracket/pole from Home Depot or Lowes will work and just paint it black.

I honestly could see you just building a base to keep it upright and get a leather bean bag chair to throw in front of it.

When I saw that auction up I thought it was about the size of a staff topper, about a few inches, that is massive :)
