Stargate Atlantis Asuran Replicator Pistol (Staple Gun) has always been on Top of my list. I have searched heaven and earth but it is no where to be found. So i decided to take a crack at it and see how it goes..This is my first weapon build crossing my fingers!

Here what it looks like.

I have been working on this for close to 4 weeks now. To test it out I did 1/2 Scale

1/2 Scale :

Jumped into 1:1 scale earlier this week :

First Layer

everything went well, but bit into the bottom of the handle - will fill it in later.

Replicatorstunner.pngAnti-replicatorgun2.jpgThis is actually the replicators gun,the anti replicator gun was devised by Colonel Samantha Carter, this is the anti replicator gun

so i thought more and more about this prop, i decided to go ahead and build a replica that can hold lights. The result, i had to toss the previous approach out and work with thinner MDF and layer it up so the lights can be installed.

I tried to follow the original dimensions as close as possible. Here is what i was able to do, took me a whole day today! since this is not cut from a block, installing lights should be little easier lets see how it goes...

Original approach

2nd approach

Cut the Smaller Detail Blocks.
One of these broke :/ (2nd one) -- going to glue it up and see how it turns out. If it doesn't work will deff try to cut a brand new one.

Hey good job !!!!
I am also looking for this blaster because I have the costume (the photo) with me and he misses me to put it in the holster :-/
If you sell or so just to give advice I'm ok :)
(sorry for english i'm french)

Here is all the detail pieces and the backbone together.
Note: this decreases the thickness hence is much much closer to the original ones..

More Sanding to take out imperfections - The white/grey (2nd layer of primer) is what will need bondo and then later primed again and sanded again.
