STARGATE 8 Foot Glider

Seriously, your point is well made, but, and its my opinion, I didn't like the look of the SG1 Glider. The Movie one was more curvy, and the guns on the TV one were too small.

However, I never viewed them as mutually exclusive, in fact, I believe the MOVIE one was in an early episode of SG1. So I just took it as different models of the same type of vehicle.

The Movie one being the CLASSIC EXOTIC ROADSTER, and the TV one being the
FORD SUV.
;-)

I wouldn't argue with that. The movie ones seemed more about awing the ignorant savages with the flying chariot, while the TV show one was more practical than anything.

There's no doubt the movie version is just ****ing gorgeous though.

Frank, As always you amaze me with your talent.

The pics I saw earlier from you did not do this thing the justice it deserved :)

Thanks Aus, and Cheech.

Im finishing up a VIPER build, and a couple of other projects. Then changing "hobby gears" so to speak.

This is actually, the SECOND one.

Im almost done, needs painted antennas, Guns, and Pilot mounted. Then some paint details, some more weathering, and WALLA!

Aw geez Frank, that's just tear-up level beautiful! Actually looks like a flying piece of Egyptian jewelry.

Thank Bro!
Appreciate that!

Dont laugh..but...Im SO tempted to do a TRICKED out cockpit, and use a Horizon 1/5 Scale Model, and Mold it with SHRINK Silicone so its closer to 1/6 Scale which is really the scale of the Glider. The actual Prop pilots a re a tad BIG. In the Film, the Pilot looks smaller than the cockpit is on the prop.

So...I thought it would be cool, to use a DRAGON Body and make a full sized Pilot with cool looking controls and seat.

Then I sit think...if only I had the time!

Way to go man! Build looks great, you have to post more pics and give details on the build!

Awesome!
