But Maz was the only one(hippy crystal aunt) who said the lightsaber LITERALLY called to her - and then when explaining the force specifically said it was all living things. As Maz is not a force user and just a believer, does it really matter that a hippy bar owner said it called her...

Did it open the door to that room as well... no

The force pulled her to it.

everyone takes the one line and talks like it has a consciousness.

Man, at the Christmas party the General Manager (or whatever her job is) said she manifested my working there....

Ooooookay. Well I she has a power I had not known then!

At least she didnt say, The Addams Movie... it called to you!

Id feel pretty bad about the way I talk about it then....

WOULD I.T. PLEASE COME IN HERE AND FIX MY KEYBOARD SO I CAN USE PUNCTUATION - QUESTION MARK!

Not according to canon! :D ;)

I personally never liked his character... but I know some do...

I actually liked Threepio in this one.

THAT is shocking.
According to some`s canon. Not everyone drank the Kool Aid remember.
Didnt like the Sheev? I always liked both versions of him, Ian was great. To see him forced back in to the story left me feeling nothing but disappointment. Sad.

I got three things from my first viewing

I now know how immortals in the highlander shows pulled swords out of there butts "the force" lol
Did kylo strait pop out of rey's ass to confront the Emperor?
Yes ... yes he did .

And last even though it was opening day and
All the schools are out for Christmas leave here .....there were only about 20 people in the theater . The average age was probably 60 That's only brought down because there were two young kids .

Compared to packed theaters every showing for at least the first week for TLJ .

I was easily scared as a child. Even before seeing Jedi I saw the figure and wasn’t cool with it. An old scary man!?

then the prequels I thought he looked like a dork, ha.

I will say though, he’s always there to have fun. Which I get a kick out of.

And as a RLM fan, I love that they idolize him.

Clip from someone else's review but it rang with me:

"felt like the product of endless market-research sessions fed into AI, which then generated the end product. It ultimately amounted to little more than a company seeking a return on investment, and it shows in the creative decisions made by Disney and Lucasfilm."

I'm still sore he didn't get a "Best Supporting" nod for RotS. Over the top? Sure. He shouldn't have done it any other way. The tragedy of Plagueis scene is still chilling.
I forget the whole quote, but after he dubs Anakin Darth Vader, when he changes his entire voice & delivery to say, "... & we shall have... Peace.". That deserves him the Oscar alone IMO.

Just got back from seeing with my wife. We both enjoyed it. Not the best Star Wars film by any stretch of the imagination. Nor the worst either. But it was satisfying for me.

Couple of things I just want to mention.

Babu is adorable.

The lightsaber fight where they are in two different locations was awesome.

Hyperspace skipping rules.

Love the line about the Holdo maneuver.

Loved hearing all those Jedi. I heard, Obi-Wan, Yoda, Anakin, Qui-Gon, Mace. Anyone I miss?

Confirmation that Palpatine is who Ben was talking to in TFA.

Palpatine says that Rey and Ben aren't the first dyad. Revan and Bastilla??????(Oh btw the Visual Dictionary just made Revan's name canon. Apparently the Sith Troopers units are named after long gone Sith Lords)

Oscar talk about an actor in a prequel movie delivering lines written by George Lucas? How dare you! Couldnt agree more with you.

Just imagine for one moment Plagueis replacing Palpatine in this movie. From a company that is so openly careless about cherry picking canon and celebrating subversion solidifies for me that there is an unwritten law there to undermine Lucas first, construct the story second.
